Holistic Wellness

We have discussed in other areas, the importance of taking an "whole body" approach to wellness.  Holistic wellness is the term used to describe this whole body approach.  Taking allopathic or drug therapy might treat the symptoms but not the underlying cause. The same is true for the concept of wellness.  Addressing only the individual components without analyzing how changes to each area might affect the holistic being is the biggest mistake that we see people make.

Don't get us wrong, to achieve truly holistic wellness, areas such as emotional, physical and spiritual must be addressed until all are in perfect harmony.  The trick is to understand how changes in one affect the other area of well being.

Achieving holistic wellness often requires the help of a trained professional until confidence and understanding is achieved by the individual.
